Dear Colleagues,

The 5th International Congress for Biological Laser Therapy and Acupuncture will again take place at the University of Göttingen, from June 25th through June 27th, 2010. This is also the first anniversary of the EGLA Congress.

The conference will bring specialists for laser therapy and acupuncture from all over the world together to promote the scientific research of this exciting medical field for the benefit of our patients. And for the first time, the EGLA Congress has been arranged in cooperation with the American Association for Biological Therapy and Laser Acupuncture (AALA). So this year, we expect a broad participation of colleagues from the United States, Canada, and many other countries worldwide.

A major topic of this conference will be the biological therapy of cancer. "Light for Life" means to give energy to chronically ill patients, to strengthen the immune system and the psyche to provide new hope. Potent new strategies in cancer therapy will be presented to demonstrate this strengthening of the immune system with this systemic laser and photodynamic therapy. And besides the curing of diseases, we now know very well that with a supply of light energy into our bodies, all the metabolic pathways of the hormonal and immune systems are stimulated and the renewal processes are enhanced. So we can also regard laser therapy as the ideal anti-aging method.

I look forward to a large international participation at the conference where many illustrious speakers will present their work and experience in lectures and workshops. I also appreciate that our lecturers and attendees endure flights of up to 25 hours to visit us in Göttingen. So they spend happy and successful days with us, the congress will be accompanied by a beautiful steam boat tour on the Weser River and an open air concert with dancing and a buffet on the romantic ruin of Plesse Castle, near Göttingen. This will make our meeting perfect and deepen our cooperation and friendship.

I am looking forward to your visit.

Sincerely Yours,

Michael Weber
President EGLA and AALA
